Weekly Update- May 10

Recently, Charleston County sold $129.6 million in new bonds to refinance various previously issued County bonds. In doing so, we accomplished a total gross savings of $10.5 million in interest that the taxpayers would have had to otherwise pay. Charleston County has the “Triple-Triple A” rating.
